Changes for users
From QmPlusDoc
Qm+ has two user interfaces. This is the change log for employees. The change log for managers, case handlers and reviewers can be found here.
Changes in version 3.13 - 21.10.2011
General
- Several adjustments have been made according to the Quality criteria (Norwegian only) defined by the Norwegian Agency for Public Management and eGovernment (Difi) . This is a work in progress.
- Buttons that apply to an entire page are now gathered in a separate row with green background colour at the bottom of the page.
- Warning for cases that are overdue: An auto-generated warning email is now sent for actions with status Under execution which are overdue.
- As of this version, Qm+ no longer supports Interner Explorer 6 (IE6). If you are using IE6 and you are experiencing problems with Qm+, you are strongly encouraged to upgrade your browser.
My cases
- The defining category of the message now shows in bold letters in the column Description of the table "My registered messages".

General
- Some minor adjustments have been made to satisfy the requirements of universal design. The most visible one is that some colours have been adjusted to provide better contrast.

18.03.2011: Changes in version 3.10
General
- It is now possible for a user to belong to multiple departments. In this case, you can select the department you wish to log into on the login page. To log into a different department, you must log out and then in again.

Icon for export to .docx added for documents written in Qm+. Please note that the .pdf version is the most suitable for printing. At this point, we cannot guarantee that the .docx version will look the same in all editors or that the documents will open correctly (with various versions of Microsoft Office and OpenOffice 3.2.1 or later). This export format should only be used when there is a need for manually updating the document.
My cases
- The buttons for registering a new message have changed colour. The buttons for new messages now have an orange / yellow colour, for log messages they are green and for risk messages red.
- If there are more than 6 buttons for new messages they will appear in several rows.
- The pages Edit message and Action process now have a new more informative title (number, status, due date etc).
- Pop ups for messages and actions have become uniform. The History of the case (previously in a separate H column) has been merged into the the Extra information popup that opens from the + sign.
- The message history became more compact. Everything that happens at the same time (when clicking a button), like emails sent or actions done, now shows in a single row. This change can be seen in the popups from the Messages page (+). Also, the columns Operation and Done by in the message history table have switched places.
- The action history became more compact. Some entries have been merged (for example email sent at the same time to the action creator, the action executor and the action approver). This change can be seen in the popups from the Actions page (+).
22.10.2010: Changes in version 3.9
Message forms
- For the category groups that appear as drop-down menus you can now write letters to find your way to the desired category. Click first on the drop-down menu before you press the first letter or number on your keyboard. This search function is particularly useful for category groups that may contain 100 - 1000 categories.
- Message form. New option. The cost field can be locked so that it is no longer possible to override the sum of the checked categories. This option is turned off by default.
Risk analysis lists
- Risk value 0 was added. It is used for questions that are not relevant and means "unanswered".
18.06.2010: Changes in version 3.8
My current cases
- Ordering on the column "Current case handler" is now working as intended.
- Ordering on the column "Operative department" added.
- History for Actions updated to the complete version. Now also includes communication regarding the action.
Dialog
- Emails sent as information are now shown in the Dialog table.
- Error corrected: Emails sent to the nearest line manager when the case handler was not selected could go to the wrong recipient.
- Error corrected: The system had an error when clicking the send button without selecting any recipient.
- The current user may now send emails to all other users who have sent an email to the current user regarding the selected case. That means the Send email to field now shows the following users:
- The nearest manager in the hiearchy.
- The current case handler for the selected message, if set.
- Any users that have sent a message to the current user regarding the selected case.

- The whole system has changed colour scheme.

- Subdocuments are now shown when holding the cursor above the triangle in front of a document with subdocuments. The subdocuments are shown until clicking the triangle with the left mouse button.
- An icon is shown in front of each document illustrating the type of the document.
03.10.2008: Changes in version 3.00
General
- Qm+ has changed plattform from Orion application server to Tomcat and Apache. This should not affect the service in any way.
- All customers are now connected with SSL coding of the transfered data. This means that those of you who link directly to the login page in Qm+ have to replace http:// with https://. http:// will continue to work for a while. Those who link to our web page with http://www.qmplus.net do not need to make any changes. Contact drift@qmplus.net if you have any questions.
- All pages in the system now have a Help button that opens the corresponding page in the new Qm+ encyclopedia. The encyclopedia system is written in a media wiki system that those who have used a wikipedia variant will recognise. The main page of the new Qm+ encyclopedia may be reached from the normal Help folder or by pressing the link called Hovedsiden when viewing a documentation page. The new help system is currently only available in Norwegian and the Help button is only shown for users with bokmål, nynorsk, swedish or danish as language. We are planning to create an english version eventually.
- The name of the department is now shown with the name of the user.
- The folder My messages is now named My cases.
My cases
- The folder Correcting actions is now named Actions.
- The folder Correcting Campaign check lists is now named Questionnaires.
- If Log messages are activated, the user gets the folders Non conformance / Proposals and Log under Messages.
Messages
- Message form. Message forms may now contain a check box for anonymising of the message.
- Message form. Message forms may now show extended information when holding the mouse pointer above the name of a category group.
Questionnaires
- When selecting an activity, the attached list is now immediatly opened. Previously you got to choose between a Fill out button and a Paper version button.
